According to broker reports, Maersk has reportedly placed an order at New Times Shipbuilding for six 16,000 TEU LNG dual fuel containerships.
The liner hasn’t confirmed the order, however, reports suggest the vessels, set to be delivered to Maersk in 2028, are priced at approximately USD 200 million each. The order is also believed to carry options for six more vessels.
